Ultra slow convergence velocity in the simulation

Model studied:

A rectangle (100 microns * 1 micron) with a uniform heat source (2.02W/m2) inside, all the edges have a convective boundary condition (h=20W/mK,T=300K). Just a steady simulation. The final temperature should be about 305K. The relaxation factor is 1.

Problem: Ultra slow convergence velocity, about 0.01K/iter.

Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem? the velocity is unacceptable.

Thanks.

Re: Ultra slow convergence velocity in the simulat

Sorry, the heat source is 2.02e8W/m2, just a clerical error.
