sir i am undergraduate student doing project in the cavitation in the conical valve.I needed to know the following

1) Define-

inlet-

total gauge pressure

what is the significance of this one.whether it is aboulte pressure or total stagnation preesure

2) importance of time step (i am using unstedy condition)

3)it is diffcult to converge the probelm.any suggestion to the same.
