Default boundary adaption with geometry based adaption

Hello,

I have a 3d tet mesh and I would like to refine the cells around the wall using boundary adaption with the geometry based adaption pushing the nodes towards those of a fine surface mesh. When I try this I can adapt (refine) once but if I try to refine further I get non-positive volumes. I've tried setting the minimum cell volume to a positive number and that doesn't help. Is there a way to stop it producing these non-positive volumes?

Thanks,

Kate
