Hi Everyone, I am facing problem with the direction of the vorticity when I am going to do the grid independence test in an isoceles triagular cavity. When the flow is assymetric along the center line then for finest mesh the direction of the vorticity is clockwise but on the otherhand for coarse mesh it is anticlockwise.
Could anybody please tell me why this is happening!! Suvash |

Hi,
Is this a laminar/turbulent flow case? If turbulent, it may be finest length scale resolution problem |

Hi Sachin, Thanks for reply. It's laminar model for Gr=1.33Xe06. I can send you the temperature countour as attachment if you wish to see it!!
