Hardcopy output - Where is PNG?

Come on Fluent. You can do better than this. why don't you support PNG as file format at the hardcopy output? Any other raster image options one can choose is actually not suitable for CFD plots. The JPEG compression is way too hard on the files. And TIFF files are way to big!

Yet another appeal for png support from fluent!

Everytime I have to convert the hardcopies to .png files, but this isn't necessaey if fluent support it natively. PNG is open standard, no patent problem and it is mature. so why not?

From Fluent: "PNG is under testing for Fluent 6.3. It is currently a hidden feature in the beta version and will most likely be included in the default hard-copy setup when 6.3 is released."
