Hello, I simulated a simple rectangular pipe with velocity inlet and pressure outlet. The fluid is water. The turbulence start getting less developed the nearer it comes to the pressure outlet. E.g. the maximum velocity in the middle of the pipe decreases after the point, where the turbulence is fully developed. Why does that happen? That doesnt fit to the theoretical flow-profile which should remain constant. Kind regards Gerd
