Hei

I am trying to run a 3D FLUENT case with approx 1,2 millions grids with a k-eps turbulence model, steady case in a PC with a dual Xeon processors with 2Gb of RAM (Is it enough ?) ; I have disable the Hyperthreading.

For some reason the CPU time time never exeed the 55% while the Page file usage used is approx 2 Gb : I fixed my Virtual memory to min = 2060Mb and max = 4069Mb. In the task manager , processes windows, the page faults shows a value of 24millions after just 10 min of simulation. I want to know what is the meaning of it, is there a problem somewhere?

The whole simulation is quite slow (even if I removed all others processes) ; what can I do to increase the speed of the simulation.

Thanks Pk

You need to run parallel Fluent to take advantage of double processor machine.
