mesh skills in gambit

Hi everybody!

I'm working with gambit to create 2D and 3D meshes. I'm able to create 2D face meshes from defining the between-node distance of the edges firstly. The problem is that I've tried to define the mesh more acurately in the closer zone near the edge using the tool "define boundary" from the mesh menu, but I'm not able to do it properly. Can anybody explain me the necessary steps to do it in order to connect this finer mesh with the rest of the face mesh?

Thanks

Hi I think your question is not clear but I know that there is not neccessity to use "define boundary" as a tool for meshing the zones close to walls or etc. You can use the conventional tools to define fine or coarse mesh in some zones and "define boundary" is just to simplify your task. Mohsen

Thanks Mohsen. Sorry because I said "define boundary" when I wanted to say "boundary layer"
