I was reading some tutorials and saw that in tigird there´s a mechanism where hexa- and tetra meshes could be glued in hybrid style...tigrid first uses a 4-pyramid cell to the hexa and a Tetrahedron (3pyramid) to the tet mesh.

Till now i used interfaces for connecting tets- and hexs in fluent....that worked fine, but took lot of work.

Can anyone give me some experiences about that connection, accuracy, special shemes or charateristic ?

that would be very interesting
