export data in fluent

Hello all,

is there any way that i can take as results a function? i mean can i take a function of velocity on a surface? I am trying to do this with :export data, but i don't know which format should i use and how am i going to use all these data i take.I have to use this function in another program. How about udf?could i declare somehow my function?

file->write->profile

select the velocity and the surface u want.

Dear sir if u have Tecplot this software will be the best software for data visulization
