Default Defect geometry - Gambit

Hi I am doing some simulations with an already existing, complex mesh geometry which is causing problems since there are negative volumes and normals. The skewness value is also bad. Does anyone have an idea how i can eliminate such cells in GAMBIT or somehow else? Thanx
