Terminate Particle - DPM

Could anyone give a tip on how to terminate particles? E.g. if a particle enters a zone with a temperature high enough to 'explode' it. I know how to add the 'explosion' energy to the energy source term, but how do I take the particle out of the calculation?

You could try setting the particle mass to 0 at that instant.

Or the particle flow rate to 0.0. If doing an unsteady calculation, FLUENT will say something like that it has "culled the massless particle" from the calculation at the end of the timestep.
