Default DEFINE MASS TRANSFER

Hello,

I have one more doubt concerning DEFINE MASS TRANSFER UDF for VOF model. Does it compute mass transfer in all the cells in given phase or only in the cells located on the interface (with phase volume fraction different from 0 or 1)? How can I distinguish for which cell (or location) the UDF is currently computed? To use e.g. Fick's law I need the area of the interface. How can it be computed for the cell?

This topic is not clear in the documentation and maybe some of you have experience with this kind of computations?

regards, Maciej
