Hi everybody,

Quick question: Does fluent allow parallel processing in a DO radiation model ?

Thanks

yes we can do "do radiation model" in parallel

Generally yes, but in this moment I have a problem to run one case with DO in parallel:

iter continuity x-velocity y-velocity z-velocity energy k epsilon do-intensi ch4 o2 co2 co h2o pollut_no pollut_n2o time/iter 7022 1.0064e-05 1.7265e-07 8.1095e-08 9.0340e-08 7.2940e-08 1.9221e-07 5.3088e-07 2.3053e-07 2.2828e-06 8.2251e-08 8.0077e-08 6.3796e-07 1.0677e-07 1.7240e-07 5.1015e-06 0:00:00 1

It requirs more memory in parallel also. So best way to use is "Solve radiation for every 2/4 flow iterations." Check for this option in radiation panel.

Iterations without DO equations solving works without problem. Iteration with DO equations solving gives me the error. And, probably I have enough memory... I have discussed the problem with Fluent user support without success...
