Help: Negative Volume

I have constructed a model of the furnace. In this when i mesh one of the volume and then summarize the meshed volume then it shows that the meshed volume is negative volume. Please tell me the way to remove the negative volume.Does this negative volume has any effect when i export the model in Fluent and carry out the analysis over there. Thank you

Re: Help: Negative Volume

If you have a negative voulume, Fluent will diverge normally at the first iteration.

The only way to remove a negative volume is to remesh.

Re: Help: Negative Volume

i have tried all type of the meshing in the negative volume but it doesnot disappear.. so i created virtual volume in the negative volume and meshed it. then negative volume disappeared. is this method correct?

Re: Help: Negative Volume

For myself, i change size parameter or something else before remeshing.

I have change the size parameter but still I am getting the negative volume.

Do you clean your cad geometry after import?
