How to solve a scalar eq.?

Dear Friends,
Could you tell me how to solve a scalar equation. As we know, the U,V,W,P,T,... equations are solved in Fluent. If we would like to solve a scalar equation other than those equations that provided in Fluent, e.g., magnetic potential equation, voltage equation,... Could you tell me how to do?
