Need Makefile for GCC in windows to compile UDFs

Hello,

I'm trying to compile UDFs for Fluent using gcc compiler. Until now I've been using Visual Studio compiler and it has worked fine. But now I don't have a license for that compiler. I've read that it is possible to use gcc for the same purpose, so I've installed gcc and make (MinGW) in Windows. The only thing that's missing is the Makefile to create the UDF files. Can anyone help me.

Thank you Filipe Madureira

Hi!if I'm not wrong you can dowload a free version of Microsoft V. Studio from Microsoft's site. Anyway to use gcc under Windows if I0m not wrong you need cgwin. Then have a look at the UDF guide for compiling manually a UDF under linux. You need linux-fluent makefile template which is stored in FLuent dicrectories.Luca

gcc is for unix/linux OS, not for Window, Do what LUCA said or get a book about the C language that comes with a starter version of the compiler
