Re: how to introduce a tracer?

use display -> particle tracks

There u can select the number of tracer particles, the release point and distance, the colour of the path lines and so on.

Re: how to introduce a tracer?

hi,

use display->path lines/ select the surface, the particles are released from/ use "compute" and then display. - thats it!

You can vary the the number of steps or the step size, if the particle doen't move into the region of interest. Also is is helpfull to colour the path line by velocity or something other...

Hope it helps! Ralf
