what is the meaning of "N_TIME"?

The macro "N_TIME" indicates integer number of time steps in FLUENT UDF mannual. Usually, data sampling starts after many time steps, which time steps does the "N_TIME" count ?

Usually, data sampling starts after many time steps, How to define the specific number of time steps in UDF? and How to define the calculated number of time steps in specific number of time steps?
