Newbie qn in Multiphase flows

Guys,

I was going through the Fluent manual in multiphase flows. From what I understand, mixture model is faster than Eulerian model as they have lesser number of equations to solve. But I was wondering if turbulence modeling is possible in Mixture model (in the manual they talk about turbulence modeling in Eulerian MOdel but not for Mixture model).

Any thoughts on this topic is really appreciated.

Thanks in advance Seb.

Turulence is possible for mixture. I strongly do not reccomend mixture as lift forces option is not there with mixture itself. So its on you to take a pick. for further dicusssion mail me at kp@dal.ca.
