Dynamic Mesh & Symmetry boundary condition

I'm simulating a 3D fluid structure interaction by means of the dynamic mesh model. I'd like to limit the computational cost by the use of the symmetry boundary condition. The problem is that this condition would divide the rigid moving body in half.
Is it possible to use symmetry condition in this case? ....and if it is: How can I handle the symmetry plane with the moving deforming mesh? Or better, Which is the correct set up of the dynamic zone on the symmetry plane? Is any similar example avaible online? |
