dynamic mesh in 3d

Hey to all Fluent users!

Have any of you done any simulations using the dynamic mesh in a three-dimensional domain?

I have problems to figure out how to create the UDF for this model!

Re: dynamic mesh in 3d

I want to simulate a grid that moves with a known stroke inside a chamber with water. I have used fluent for a while but I am quite new with using UDF. Is there any available online course or something more applicated than the udf manual of Fluent or can I start with this kind of UDF?

Thanks a lot!!!!!

if you know C programm writing UDF is not big deaal, if the movement is simple then you can use in-cylinder application of Flient. www.fluentusers.com is one place where you can find useful UDF's, for that u need a account.

That helps!

In fact, it is a very easy movement. A oscilating grid movement inside a tank.

Thanks
