Using Ensight anyone?

Guys, I have been trying to use ensight 8.0 to postprocess fluent files after hearing a lot of good things about it. When I have large models (2-3M cells) with multiple fluid zones and try to get a velocity contour, vector etc., Ensight "Activates" the variable - a process which takes a very long time. The display after it activates is pretty fast though. 1. Does anybody know if there is a way around it? 2. Is this problem unique to Fluent files with Ensight?

EnSight includes support

Vivek,

I would recommend contacting CEI's Support team at Support@ensight.com or 800-551-4448 if the software is not performing to reasonable expectations. They are in a good position to help you determine if the software is working correctly or how to speed the process, or to fix the problem and get you an improved product.

Darin
