I am working on a design optimisation axial flow turbine blade(2D anlysis) using Gambit Fluent CAD programs Pro/E. If any body have done this work before I have two questions to ask. First how can I do the automation of the Gambit and Fluent phases using a Journal File? Second the integration of Gambit and Fluent with CAD Programmes Like Pro to do parametric study on my geometry. Well mate you are trying to do something the motorsport industry have been trying to do it for ages! Yes is possible however, quite complicated.

The way we do it is to mesh mesh mesh!!! Make Geometry modifications and mesh them again, however the quickest way to do is to write a script and apply it to your geometry.

There are many packages that does this for you like iSight.
