defining thermal boundary condition???

Hi for the thermal boundary condition of a warm cylinder placed inside the wind tunnel with low thickness which one gives a better results? 1. two walls with the thickness of zero? 2. one wall with an appropriate thickness? in this situation will the mesh change? thanks
