Diffusion in laminar flow

I have a 2 inlet device that I am trying to simulate laminar flow for. I will be sending in two different coloured dyes at the same velocities through the 2 inlets. I want to be able to simulate and show (display) the interaction (diffusion) between the 2 fluids using Fluent. What model do I use? The species transport model? And is it possible to have a velocity vector/contour display with 1 color for 1 dye,and another color for the other dye?

hi u can use species transport model.

Thanks for your message balmiki. I used the species transport model. But I still don't know how to be able to get a picture of the 2 fluids in 2 different colors. What display option should I use? Please let me know. Thanks again!

hi, since u r using 2 diffrent fluid it will automatically appear in 2 different color u dont have to do any thing. what exactly u want to display ?

I want to display the velocity vectors of the 2 fluids in 2 different colors. For a single fluid, as you must be aware, the velocity vectors are color coded..so the areas with faster flow have red velocity vectors, and the ones with slower flow have blue velocity vectors. How do I get just velocity vectors-without any color coding, to have a single color for each fluid?
