Old fashion look of Fluent

Some time ago I mentioned (ref: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forum/flue...cgi?read=33556) that Fluent was a good CFD-package but that 1) the GUI was miserable and 2) the integration with CAD packages was absent.

Did ANSYS read this message somehow?

I think ANSYS will bring Fluent back on the right track of creating a userfriendly top software package for customers instead of creating an academic toolbox.............. Just like they did with CFX, and I know as I use CFX and Fluent.

The GUI is not than bad. do you ICEMCFD?? if yes you would have not thought of idea ANSYS changing any part of GUI or other stuff for fluent. (It could be my personal view)

Gee, don't encourage changing Fluent's GUI. It is nice not to have a hundred buttons and all the typical clutter. Fluent's GUI is comprehensible - makes me think I understand the options before me. And it is nice not having to guess what bizarre iconic symbols derived from other cultures and shrunk to 10 pixel squares mean. If anything, they should change Gambit to look more like Fluent.
