accessing lift fore/drag force in UDF

hi,everybody! i'm trying to access lift fore(or lift coefficient)/drag force(or coefficient) in UDF and i don't know how. by the way, i'm simulating flow over a single circular cylinder.

thanx in advance for ur response!

Re: accessing lift fore/drag force in UDF

but i think it quite time-consuming, someone said lift and drag can be picked-up from fluent, but how?

can anyone help me?

thank u very much!

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but you can use "monitor-force" to monitor the lift and drag coefficients after each iteration or time-step.

thanx for responding. well, i'm programming a UDF and the lift(drag) force is used, then the easiest way to access it in UDF is?

or how we can access the values( Reprot\Forces) in UDF DIRECTLY.

thanks

I also want same thing in my UDF! Did you solved that problem.
If yes, what you did to access lift/drag in udf.
