I am trying to calculating residence time of distribution(RTD) in a stirred tank reactor. I initiated the species transport equation after i've solved the hydrodynamics equation. I set the properties of my tracer as the properties of the bulk fluid/flow which is water.

How can monitor this to get the time?

Also, How can introduce my tracer from the top surface of the liquid?

Toplaa is on a distinguished road
input the concentration of the tracer at the boundary condition if you are considering it from the inlet. otherwise if it's generation within the domain, you use a source term defined with UDF.
