i'm trying to use the dynamic mesh feature of fluent i've took the udf fromthe fluent udf manul i changed it a little bit and hooked it into fluent after defining the dynamic zone and running the simulation nothing happened

i'm looking for a simple working udf for dynamic meshes and how to hook it into fluent thanks

Did you hook the UDF as compiled or interpreted? Dynamic mesh requires compiling and building the UDF like library.

i hooked it as a compiled udf fluent recognize it but the grid does not change after runnig the simulation i think i have a problem understanding the nodes or positions variables: if i have a square domain and i wanna put one segment in motion, ie vibrating? can i do it with fluent??? and how???

Usually everything about the moving object is declared in the hand written UDF. The UDF consists of DEFINE_CG_MOTION(name,dt,vel,omega,time,dtime) macro which defines translational and rotational movment in three directions.
