Hi,
is there a UDF, that can difine the prouse zone values like porousity and res. coef. as a function of x, y and z?? I have a volume, where the porousity varies within the space. I may develope a function or a table, to assign the values to coordinates. Can a UDF handle a lookup table to read the values??? Thanks Ralf |

Hi, Yes, the udf is define profile, but this is possible in Fluent 6.2. You can give the function there.

ok... we have Fluent 6.2 .. or higher...
As it looks like, there will be only a lookup table with some discreate points, where the values are defined. So I need Fluent to do an interpolation. Otherwise I have to find a 2D function by myselve (the values are constant in the third dimension), that fits the values. And thats a lot of work for a large number of different configurations. Any Idea? |
