BC obtained from other calculations
 

Hi all, Can we apply a inlet BC(velocity profile for example)using the data obtained from another case? I am now working on the turbulent flow over backward facing step.Usually it needs an inlet condition of fully developed tuburlent flow and I think it should be obtained from a preliminary calculation. How can I apply such xy files data to my case? I will be very appreciative of your help!
