2 FLUIDS Question

Hi, My name is Jordi. I am trying to simulate a motorcycle's radiator.

I have a question about how to simulate two fluids connected with walls between them. I don't know which are the best ways and the best options to enable in Fluent to achieve good results. My problem right now is I don't get a heat transfer between air and water. I mean, I have a pipe with water (350K) and the air flow around it. Well, I see a little increase of the Temperature of the air (but it's negligible) but the water is always at the same temperature. I am trying to achieve cool the water for the action of the air around the pipe. Well If anybody know how I can solve my problem, please let me know. I will be so grateful.

Thanks to everybody,

REGARDS,

JORDI

Re: 2 FLUIDS Question

You either need to merge faces in GAMBIT because your two fluid volumes don't have a common face or you need to specify the correct conductivity for the separating wall in FLUENT.
