External Incompressible flow Boundary conditions

hi I am not able to figure out boundary conditions for a 3d mesh having a body shell of supermileage car that is to be simulated using fluent 6.1 at 34 m/s of air speed. The general velocity inlet and pressure outlet are leading to divergence in viscous models. Please help at the earliest

Re: External Incompressible flow Boundary conditio

Please check if u have scaled the model accurately.Which turbulence model u r using? Also check, turbulence properties at inlet and outlet. I feel that vel inlet and pr out shud work.

hi
I want to model an incompressible external flow over a flat plate. whlie I want to set the far-field boundary condition, Fluent gives me a msg that far-field could only be used with ideal gas which is a compressible flow case.
please help me, what should I do to model far-field?
