Re: text command for hardcopy?

and how to set the parameters?

Like picture size, colour, reverse background,...

Re: text command for hardcopy?

The easiest way to set this parameters is in the file/hardcopy panel but that would be the easier way for a hardcopy too - do you need this for the Execute commands?

Re: text command for hardcopy?

To complete this there is to say that the full textcomand is :

display hc "nameofpicture.jpg"

Re: text command for hardcopy?

that indeet would be nice!

I have got a lot of case files, and I want to hardcopy the pattern of the velocity countours for every file. To open every case file manually will be a hell lot of work!

So a journal file that can do the hardcopy would be fine.

Therefore it is importand, that every picture has the same parameter settings!

(And of course the same view... but that is another question...)

Re: text command for hardcopy?

In the moment i donīt know how to manage the settings from the hardcopy-panel as textlines but maybe i can help you with the views. The execute comand to change the view :

display view restore front

Instead of `front ī you can use all views saved in the display/views panel ).

Do this casefiles all have the same geometry, or do you just change the dat. file? Because as far as I know Fluent keeps the view in a window even when you load a new case file.
