Urgent (SOS)
Well, I want to simulate the distribution of contaminant in a room which is mechanically ventillated. The source of the cobntaminant is well defined. Please help me in selecting the model and the required post processing , if needed.

Re: Urgent (SOS)
You need to use the blue one.

Re: Urgent (SOS)
what is that supposed to mean , sir ?

Re: Urgent (SOS)
draw your domain, consider a simple case first, i.e. only gas phase without a 'polutant'. Then use DPM to track the 'inert type particle' if your 'pollutant' doesn't react with the fluid domain (air). regards, Jolius

Re: Urgent (SOS)
Dear Jolius, I think my problem is that I din't know that we can define the (viscous) models more than once in the same problem. I have drawn the simple case you've suggested - only air without pollutant. Now should I induct the pollutatnts into the space as an Injection ? If yes, what other details should I furnish for the injection ? I mean the injection shd be single, group or surface ...... ( I personally see it suitable if it's group type). Your veiws ?? Regards, Rajni.

Re: Urgent (SOS)
Sorry Rajni, I couldn't suggest anything for you because I don't know your pollutant source. The important thing is your injection type must mimic the actual situation i.e. in spray drying it should be atomiser, in cyclone it is a surface etc. good luck.

Re: Urgent (SOS)
well, the source in my actual case is a patient's mouth. But I am drawing the patient and his mouth at all in my geometry. I am just representing it as a small volume or even surface. A very small one indeed.
