Need help using dynamic mesh...urgent
 

Hi

I have plate coming down onto the surface of a liquid. I am using dynamic mesh movement for the plate. But when i am iterating it says

WARNING: non-positive volumes exist.

Error: Update-Dynamic-Mesh failed. Negative cell volume detected. Error Object: ()

Can anyone help me with this?

probably you have a problem on a interface or interior. I had once that my interface was divided in several peace like this there were blocks who were standing still and other who were shifting over and creating negative volumes.

I've that problem too, you can try TUI modify-zones/repair-face-handedness. If it not work just re-mesh the domain. If the problem persist just carefully re-consider all your boundary type. regards, jolius
