What boundary condition?

I have a plate coming down onto the surface of the fluid. But when the plate is coming down the air (which is in between the fluid and plate) is being pressed onto the fluid increasing the pressure.

Can anyone tell me what boundary conditions to be specified for enclosed edges of air to let the air out?

Re: What boundary condition?

we can use outflow condition at the side edges as we dont know the pressure or velocity calculated right at hand and at the interface we can use VOF (a guess).
