porous media

Hi,

I was doing a problem in 2D which has a 90 degree bend as the domain, I want to assign some thickness of the bend on the right hand wall as porous.

I know I can do that by going to the Fluids panel, but that would assign the whole domain as porous, how can I define just a part of the domain as porous.

Thanks in advance. Rekha.

Re: porous media

you have to seperate the domain into several parts, than you can define one of them as porous.

One alternative, if you are in 2D, yust take one line and define it as porous jump (like a membrane).
