Help with surface texture

Hi, I am modeling a problem in which a fluid is flowing over a sphere whose surface texture on one side is different from the other side (Surface texture on one half is smoother than the other half). Does anybody know how to model this? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance, Regards.

Hi,

Model the sphere in two halfs, that way you can specifiy different wall roughness heights for each half, or better, use a udf or boundary profile to specify a non constant roughness height over your sphere. This is assuming that you're modelling a fully rough or at least transitional flow regime.
