hi,

i've just started using gambit to generate mesh. i'm writing my code in fortran and i need to read in the xy mesh generated by gambit.

May i know what's the easiest way to do it? currently, it's structured mesh in a single block, although multi-blocks will be used later.

Is there a subroutine available somewhere which i can use directly?

thanks

Could you please help me in this topic?
Can i receive the program form you?

with best regards,

I have this matlab script which might help you. It is not really elegant or close to efficient (e.g., sometimes strings are compared character by character instead of as a whole) but handles most practical cases and should be easy to convert in fortran (simply use proper derived types instead of cells).

Hi,

I have generated a 2D mesh using Gambit and now I need to read the mesh that is generated. Did you find or write any program in Fortran? Do you mind sharing it with me? I am really struggling with it and I would appreciate if you can please help me out.

Thanks
