Staggered, lam, 2D, with 2 uds. After several iterations, a error message comes out as follow, "divergence detected in AMG solver: uds-1"

What can I do for this problem?

When I try to use coupled method, I will never meet this condition.

cheers,

hi, i think there might be some problem with your first UDF,Just use the first UDF in isolation without using the other one in segregated solver.Divergence errors are generally observed when a quantity is being divided by zero. These errors i have experienced hence i think might be the case.Just check your udf ,if at the time of running your code somevalue becomes 0 and is it dividing something, then that might be the problem maybe u can write the entire data in a file and check them.Hope it helps

regards

My diffusivity and property are temperature dependent, so I need to do the iteration with coupled method?

hi I meant to say that if u have got to use both the udf together then it would be better to write the output in a file and check if any quantity in your first udf is being divided by zero by checking the files.
