Can I use Fluent to do LES in 2D?

Yes, there is a TUI command to enable that. Please try and search this forum using the keywords LES and 2D.

There was a long discussion about LES in 2D on before on one of the cfd-online forums, it's worth reading - better still some text books on LES. It is not valid to run LES in 2D. Because LES does not model turbulence it resolves it, and turbulence is inherently 3D, 2D LES will produce an answer, but not the right answer (if you do get the right answer, it's by luck only).

If you're doing it just to find out if the model runs, then fair enough. If you're going to present the results then do some more homework. If you presented 2D LES results to me, I'd tell you you'd wasted your time and to come back when you've run them in 3D.
