HI,
I am simulating a venturi scrubber. In which air is scrubbed by water. I have defined the boundary condition but at the inlet , It shows mixture. It does not show the velocity inlet for the air. Second i am going to introduce water in the throat, i have to specify the boundary condition , but instead of velocity inlet the boundary condition is set to wall for water . Pics are hereby attached. Kindly help me in setting boundary conditions for that problem. Regardsvelocity inlet.jpg velocity inlet file.jpgvelocity inlet.jpg velocity inlet file.jpg water in.jpg |

I think it usually shows as mixture. But the mass fraction for the respective phase would be 1. It means, in case of reverse flow it would allow the other phase to enter or exit the boundary.
