Hi All,

I am new to Fluent. I seeking a way to set a volumetric heat source that is changing with time. Also, I am seeking the same for a mass flow inlet. Could any body tell me how to do this from A to Z ??!

Cheers, Amr

Hi

You can go through the UDF manual which is found at the following link. There are some examples similar to your problem. I am sending this thinking that you have an login access to it. If not, give me your e-mail id so that i can send it.

Hope it helps, Shanti

The manual is good, but also big. I think you can save some time at first by focusing on DEFINE_SOURCE and DEFINE_ADJUST.

Best of luck!
