Default failure in dynamic mesh updating
Posts: n/a
Hi everybody,

I've got a model with a moving wall. Unfortunately the mesh isn't updated whereas I specified it in the dynamic mesh panel. So after a few iterations, I've got this message:

Mesh Statistics: Min Volume =-6.89746e-002 Max Volume =5.99320e+004 Warning: negative cell volume detected! Error: Update dynamic mesh failed! Error Object: ()

Any idea will be really appreciated! Many thanks.

Hi i had same problem as you. you must change your remeshing and smoothing parameters to get a suitable mesh. hope you to be successful.

Hi guy,

Thank you very much for your advice. Furthermore I don't understand very well the example in the manual about the macro: DEFINE_GRID_MOTION. Can you please send me your UDF above all if it's a simple one!! My address is:
