i have a geometry made using solidworks, with .sldasm ext. i dont have any solidworks software so i may not be able to save that in any other format..even if there is any option of doing it.i was able to view the geometry using a solidwork viewer which i downlodaded from net.

any suggestion so that i can generate a mesh from that file by may be openning it in some other softwares. or any suggestions which might help me.

thank you rahul

you should save the file in parasolid (.x_t) format to export it in to Gambit and mesh it. then u can export this mesh file to FLUENT. regards, madhukar
