exporting graph from fluent

Default exporting graph from fluent

does anyone know if it is possible to export the XY-plot from fluent, numerically and not just as a display, such that i can accuretly know the x-value corresponing to a certain y-value ? if yes, how?

It is possible. Click "Write to File" box.

Check the "write to file" box. You then specify where to save the file. Fluent will save it as a .xy extension which you can then open in a text editor or spreadsheet. Depending on which options you check it will give you either the x or y component of the plane you're looking at on the same line as the variable you're exporting (pressure, velocity etc.).
