How to apply force???

Hi

I have a surface of a fluid. I want to apply force on it. Could anyone tell me how to apply any force on any surface?

Thanks in advance, Shanti

Hi,

I would say that you divide the force you want to apply by the area of your surface and that gives the pressure to apply on the surface. (F=PxA)

Thats how I do it in FEA anyway...

I can understand that but can u tell me what boundary condition is to be used at the surface. Do I need to use pressure inlet condition?

Thanks in advance, Shanti
