Default dynamic meshing-effect of rotating parts on flow

hi,

I am trying to find the effect of baffle plates,paddles attached to a rotating shaft in a dryer.I am trying to solve it using dynamic mesh.I am using it for first time.I went thourh fluent manual but I couldnot understand how to assign angular velocities.The manual says to use a udf,but I am totally confused could some one help me with this.
